COVID-19 Update

In the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic, it is imperative that we all keep informed on the latest health and safety advice, government restrictions and recommendations. Public safety is the number one priority.

With a nationwide lock down currently in place, there is a lot of strain on businesses as they struggle with severely reduced income. While this is an incredibly uncertain time for all, there are options available to businesses looking for relief. For information on Government support, as well as advice on what steps to take to protect your business, please visit the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation website.

Important Information

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is a huge source of stress and worry to individuals and businesses alike. This is an infectious disease caused by a novel virus. The disease can cause respiratory illness, and in severe cases, difficulty breathing. You are at risk of contracting the virus if you come into close contact with an infected person, touch surfaces that an infected person has coughed or sneezed on and bring your unwashed hands to your face. As a result, all non-essential services have been asked to work remotely where possible, for the duration of the lock down period.

This pandemic has and will continue to impact us all, and it is our collective duty to be well informed and to follow correct procedures at all times. For information and guidance on how best to protect yourself and others, please visit the HSE website.

Effects on Business

In the interest of health and safety, our staff are now working remotely to ensure that normal service continues. Like all other non-essential services, we have taken this step in the interest of public safety. We are still operating phone lines and email inboxes as normal between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. We can assure clients that normal business continues to operate, and we will be working hard to offer as much support as possible over the coming weeks.

We are offering emergency financial support during these testing times. For any queries as to how we may be able to help your business, contact us here by making an appointment to speak with a member of our dedicated team. We offer a range of flexible finance options that may suit your business’ needs.

Always be aware of your options and rights before entering into any agreement. We will go through exactly what your business needs are and what information we will require from you. Each originator is unique, so no one plan can cover all clients. As part of our process, we will work with you to formulate an affordable repayment plan. Here at Convertibill®, we have a role to play in helping businesses get back on their feet, and will do all that we can to help new and existing clients through these extremely challenging times.

Final Thought

Be aware of fraudulent traders and scam artists offering false financial advice and services at this time. Always verify the identity of any agency that reaches out to you, and never give personal information over the phone. It is times like these when consumers and businesses alike are at their most vulnerable. Only take financial advice from trusted sources.

Here at Convertibill would like to thank all of the fantastic frontline staff who continue to carry out essential work, while under immense pressure amidst the current pandemic. By following government guidelines, we can all play a part in slowing the spread of the virus. We look forward to helping our clients through this challenging time, and resuming normal trading in the coming months.
